Well, time just keeps marching on, doesnt it. you blink, and suddenly it is 3 months later! The holidays are over, there is snow everywhere, and where did the time go?
Two days ago we had little Sage up to the Dr to have her head examined (outside, not inside :). In a few weeks, she will be in a helmet for at least 22 hours a day, preferable 24/7. We need suggestions on how to help a 10 month old adapt to such a thing. She HATES to have anything on her head, so this will not be fun. HELP! Any suggestions from out there??????

Put mirrors out everywhere , and change the way the helmet looks every day (pipe cleaners??) maybe.
But that way she can see herself and it should be more fun.
I have a friend who's little one had to do this. She said it actually didn't take long for her to get used to it. Every personality is different.
I think they give you a week or so for ajustments. Putting the helmet on her for longer and longer periods each day. Hopefully she will have no problems w/ it & be out of it in fairly quickly. The more she wears it the faster she will be back to normal :)
I will talk to my friend & see if she has any other suggestions!
Good luck!
